Spending quality time with your kids in this manic age of commuting, social media and work is so incredibly important and for the animal lovers out there its just the same. I was actually having a chat yesterday with a friend who is a Fashion Photographer and his pet terrier is his life, out of work. He said he hates leaving him at home and tries to work from home most days. We all know what our furry friends are like waiting for us at the front door, its so sweet. But likewise as a manic working mum I love getting home to see my two gorgeous kids.
My daughter Fleur and I recently went to the film premiere of The Secret Life of Pets and just loved it, a funny and sweet film that reminded us of our little Shitzu Winston. Fleur left the film imagining every scenario of what Winston and his friend Keith the cat next door get up to when we are out. And of course as kids do, she wanted to watch the film again and again so I decided to download it, which is super easy and super handy.
I can't deny in our family we all love a good movie and with all the trips in and out of London and occasionally abroad we both love the iPad but the iPhone can even come in handy as a distraction tactic if we are out and my 18month old Rocco is kicking off, I'll let him watch a movie till he calms down.
