Kolchagov Barba LFW Show And After Party

So A/W17 London Fashion Week has just happened. It's honestly a complete blur while you are amid the London Fashion Week frenzy but the highlight of Day 1 for me was inevitably the Kolchagov Barba show.

The fabulously talented duo behind Kolchagov Barba (Emilio and Svet) channelled a feminine yet edgy energy for their Black Coral AW17 show. Rather than showcasing the lightness of a woman's spirit they explored the darkness that exists in us all with their edgy, divine and sexy collection. Floaty gowns and tailored ruffle trims were vamped up with a strictly black palette – textured lace overlays and sheer panels added a dimension of sex appeal and drew the eye in to the garment. A stunning collection from a pair of designers who are on the path to super stardom.

The Frow was full of familiar faces with Pandora Christie, AJ Odudu, Franky Vincentio, Lewis -Duncan Weedon and a host of musicians; Rapper Joey Base, Larissa Eddie plus the fabulous Joe Alvarez and Tamara Dumas all making an appearance. Respected editors and celebrity stylists also enjoyed the show, alongside buyers from ASOS and other retail giants. Danni Minogue and Katie Piper also tweeted their well wishes for the show, who were both unfortunately unable to make it.

The after party was a complete success as it was last year with industry faces, editors, press and celebs partying till the early hours at the prestigious A lister hangout, to celebrate another incredible show from Kolchagov Barba.
